Never seen anyone actually put it into those exact words on a PowerPoint but you’d see presentations like closing the gap between minorities and whites, fighting the culture of poverty etc. Different words but we all know what they mean.

Problem is the Education problem is not an easy one to fix and too many people think they know the answers.

What is the point you're making here?

The US school system definitely needs more funding.

It's very wrong when teacher have to pay out of their own pocket for supplies and the have to teach in building that are falling apart

Yeah man I guess I didn’t explain it clearly.
Essentially it’s very similar presentations with misleading titles.

The presentation may carry a title called fighting poverty in schools, but it eventually leads its way into schools being a pro white, there being a white bias etc.

Makes me laugh because I work with the schools in question many times, and the people working at those schools are very often minorities.

                Gotcha.

Are you saying that the people that create these PowerPoint's are implying that whites are responsible for the poverty in schools?

Its good to have someone in the Education industry commenting on the topic.

What's your thoughts on school choice?

No, I’m saying they blame the education gap on the “culture of whiteness”.
It’s hard to explain so I’ll give you an example I remember from one of the presentations.

We were discussing closing the achievement gap. In it the presenter was telling us how the test we were giving the students was pro white and anti minority because the vocabulary used wasn’t common in urban households, but rather used in suburban homes. Dude even had a list of words. This lead to a speech about making schools for welcoming for minorities not just white Kids and all kids of BS.

Lost in his presentation of course was the fact that if this test was indeed bias towards minorities it skipped the Asian kids and the dual language kids who weren’t affected.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Schools Chancellor Richard Carranza has vowed to vigorously defend himself against charges his reorganization of the city’s educational bureaucracy was based on race, creating an environment hostile to whites.

He can play guitar with the best of ’em, but Carranza’s sweeping rearrangement of the deck chairs at the Department of Education is apparently hitting a sour note with some who found themselves without a seat when the music stopped.

Sources told CBS2’s Marcia Kramer that at least four top DOE executives are working with lawyer Davida Perry, a specialist in employment discrimination, to sue the city. They claim Carranza created an environment hostile to whites. The four were reportedly demoted or stripped of duties.
