Floyd didn't NEED to give anybody a rematch

Did he give Oscar a rematch? Did he give Manny a rematch? Did he give Cotto a rematch? The guy that actually did the most obvious damage to him in comparisons to all of the fighters you mentioned

And if Maidana won the first one, well he shoulda won the 2nd one

Seems to be the only thing that ward sympathizers have to lean on, "he did more body work", as if somehow, he gets extra credit for tapping Kovalevs sides.

But when Maidana was battering Floyds body in the first fight,

      *crickets*
      ?

Ward didn't outbox Kovalev. Didn't outslug him. Didn't control the pace. Had no effective aggression, very little defense.

So how did he win so many rounds?

      Oh yea,

      bodywork.
Why is it that when Mayweather holds it's illegal but when Kovalev does it it's great boxing?

        try again.
Simple, a lot of the early fight was spent feeling each other out.

Anyone could see those body shots diminished a lot of Kovalev's power and hand speed later on. Not to mention he was looking a bit winded at certain points like when he fell under the ropes. It also significantly cut into his ability to cut the ring off which even Roy mentioned.

I don't know. You're going to have to ask the gents who have said that.

Why would you rematch someone you beat convincingly?

Because Kovalev is this big time boxer that beat everyone. He beat Hopkins when he was 159 years old. And his skin is white, you know what that means on this board.

Floyd beat Pac, Cotto, Canelo, Oscar, Mosley, Hatton, Judah, but he gets no credit because he is ****y and black. This place is a racist joke

Why not? Another pay day, another win. Are you dumb?

                  • Difference of levels. Maidana dont get me wrong he is a beast but he has a style of a bum.

It is about timing and punch placement.

Maidana swung for the fences, happy to land anywhere and alot happened to land on the body whereas Ward's bodyshots had purpose.. ward knows when to throw them and where to land.

                    • Even Kovalev's failure is somehow Mayweather's fault.
