Not to mention he voted against the surge, which was a huge success and will allow our troops to come home with their heads held high.

On a side note, I flipped over to MSNBC, where one of Olbermann's drones claimed this was the worst economy in 75 years. I guess he missed the 3.3% growth in the second quarter this year, giving us the highest GDP in history.

Well it seems that McCain hasn't exactly been good towards troops and veterans either.

Me too... I was just being ironic, since Sin City actually believes that.

Definitely! I would love anybody from bushes administration or at least his good pal mcain to take the presidency. Our country is doing soooo great rightnow that I want it to keep going for another 4 years. Wherever I go I see happiness. Everybody is still living in their homes and the housing market is doing awesome. Nobody is suffering. Everybody has so much money rightnow that its not even funny. The richest of the country are giving so much to the hardworking middle class by raising up gas prices with the help of republicans, thus helping people appreciate gas more. I love it!

You do realize that most of our problems stem from 115-146 dollar a barrel oil? That we import 70% of the 20 million barrels that we use every day, because a democratically controlled congress won't let us drill for more? That most of our problems have occurred since this congress took over 2 years ago? That we produce such a tiny amount of the world's production that it is impossible for us to affect the price of oil? That all of the people selling us those 14 million barrels a day hate us? That in spite of all this our economy grew 3.3% last quarter? That the housing bubble burst only after housing prices doubled during the first 5 years of Bush's presidency?

              Clearly not.

And clearly you think a socialist is going to fix all our problems through income and wealth redistribution.

Its hilarious. I have no idea how they get away with lying through their teeth like that.

Seriously, its like if they told me that the earths gravity was weakening. Unlike Sin City who starts running around going "OMG WERE DOOMED!" I jump first then I realize they are full of ****.

As someone that makes my living as a DAYTRADER, I can say with 100% confidence that the economy is already recovering from the hiccup we had. Seriously, that is all it was, a ****ing hiccup.

It wasn't even the worst economic crisis in the last 10 years yet alone the last 30 or 40 or 50 or EVER.
