I'm having a few bottles of this before I go out later. I'm only on my first one. Not a bad beer. All German beers are chemical free apparently.

Supposedly. I have my doubts about Beck's.

I'm about to try a "vintage" Mac Queen's Nessie from the Brauerei Schloss Eggenberg, an Austrian brewery. I call it a vintage because it turns out that its an older recipe of the beer. Its now 5.4 abv and has been since 2008. Its older recipe, which I bought is 7.3 abv. Problem is, its a Vienna Lager that isn't that strong, which means it doesn't age that well, or at least its not supposed to. It was sold at a store and I did not know it was old until after I bought it. So, I'm gonna take a chance and drink something that likely tastes like crap.

Having a few of those tonight before I head out. I think it's been over here for a while now, but I've never tried it before.

                    • The Samuel Adams wasn't bad. It is a darker beer and a bit more hoppy than what I usually like, but I think I could acquire a taste for it.

Today I'm drinking Tsingtao and Asahi.
