And its sorta funny to me that the R's are for it & the D's are against it when if you think about it its sorta like state communism with trying to make states equal or more equal any way.

One person, one vote. With the electoral college you make a guys vote in Idaho more valuable than a guys vote in Texas. Thats just f#cking stupid. The most popular states SHOULD have more power than they do in electing the leadership of the United States of America.
You know electoral college votes are distributed according to congressional seats right?

    Senators, congressmen

Senators 2 a state, congressmen based on population

        So.....

If electoral college is invalid because of vote distribution , so is the Congress

A lot of these kids are dumb, they're just crying about the electoral college because Hillary lost

Same queers weren't crying when Obama won

The only reason D is against it is because they lost to Trump. They go and get the popular vote thing going, loose on it and they will be crying that it should be electoral college again.

Nobody was crying about that when Obama won

Yea I hate that team political bs where your against w/e the other team is for or what'd be bad for them.

Logically no matter who won or lost in the past the electoral college is f#cking stupid & isn't a true representation of one person, one vote of equal value across the country.

If this means the candidates don't spend as much time in Nebraska than so be it. The candidates SHOULD be spending more time where more people are any f#cking way. Nebraska ISN'T as important as other states where more people live. Idk why we keep pretending it is.

F#ck Nebraska. No offense to any NSBers who live in Nebraska just saying individual votes should be what matter not some magical state number "votes".

If it goes to the popular vote the people from California and NY will decide who will become president. It is only fair that everybody's voice is represented. People from Nebraska might not thing like the people in NY and California.

It is in the name of the country, The United States

No one state is gonna decide it. For the most part the electoral college & the popular vote have agreed on the winner anyway so its not even gonna alter things THAT much. But it is more fair & makes more sense so thats the way it should be.

The thing is if those states feel that they have no vote then why stay united?

I do understand the whole concept of the majority voting for the winner but in this case every state gets to participate in the election and feel like they can affected the outcome.

Couldn't you argue that now? I mean while I think the electoral college doesn't make sense it does still give far more sway to the bigger states. I just don't believe the more populated states are getting their true value represented via the electoral college.

And hell who knows the popular vote ruling elections could lead to smaller states making more effort to make their state more appealing to businesses & citizens to get more people to move there so they can wield more power politically.
