In the meantime, Rigo can fight Darchinyan to convince the fans that he truly deserves to face Donaire. Right now all he has to his credit is his amateur record. Darchinyan is a high risk fight for Rigo but will give his credibility a huge boost if he wins.

FIGHT THIS MAN DONAIRE AND PROVE HIM AMATEUR LEGENR OR PROFESSIONAL MYTH: Guillermo Rigondeaux is widely considered to be one of the greatest amateur fighters of all time.[3] According to Freddie Roach, Rigondeaux is probably the greatest talent he has ever seen. Guillermo Rigondeaux Ortiz (Spanish pronunciation: [ɡiˈʎermo riɣonˈdo]; born September 30, 1980 in Santiago de Cuba) is a Cuban boxer who won the gold medal at the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics in the Bantamweight (54 kg) class. Rigondeaux is a seven-time (2000–06) Cuban national champion at bantamweight. He currently claims an amateur record of nearly 400 fights with twelve losses.

People are flaming on donaire and rigo..yet in the division there isn't a bigger fight and all that's offered is $3 million...GTFOH...both these guys deserve better than that. I still think Donaire taxes that ass but they deserve a much bigger payday than that.

rigo's weak opposition sticks out like nonito ears, thats the easiest thing to spot about rigo... i believe wv2 is better than anyone rigo has fought, thats not to say he's done a lot but he's pretty good..
