The rose tinted goggles cloud most peoples' opinions so much they can't see that the HW divisions has never really been all it's made out to be. Even in the golden era of HW boxing Ernie Shavers managed to start at age 26 and rise into the top ranks. Today we have guys like Wilder and Deontay Wilder who started in their early twenties yet everyone just wants to **** on them.

Good posters, but I have to disagree with the overall view.

I honestly feel if this era just had one more ATG , it would have been a good era.
If there was a Prime Lennox Lewis at the same time as a Prime Wlad and a still elite Vitali, the era completely changes. We will now have 3 ATG'S each carving out their own niche and Lewis can fight both along with the Adameks and the David Hayes.

Or forget Lewis even. How about a in shape dedicated Riddick Bowe level fighter? That alone can bump it into a pretty solid era.

We are just missing one.
