Its almost unfair for Luck, I mean we know what that team is without Manning. And I would be hard pressed to say any other QB in the league could go on that team and make them even a .500 team let alone a rookie.

They better really make some moves in the offseason to give Luck some weapons or a decent O-line to work with or he might mentally give up after his first year.

He has to prove himself, like everyone else before him.

Luck is NOTHING like Leaf mentally. Sure he will probably get knocked around, and look like garbage next year. But he isn't some mental midget, with a rocket arm.

            The dude is the goods.
lol, now how can you make that statement without seeing Luck in the NFL?

You know what sold Mel Kiper and other so called 'gurus' on Leaf? His mental strength.

They even said Ryan Leaf was mentally stronger than Peyton Manning.

Soooo, can't really make that statement until Luck gets thrown into the lion's den.

With his quick release and accuracy and pocket mastery I would say Peyton if heakthy could play until 40+ easy since he would rarley get sacked even with **** guards.
