There has been a few fighters who have injured their hands recently. Add BJ Penn's name to the list. It looks as though "The Prodigy" will still be able to fight against Caol Uno in Atlantic City for the lightweight belt.
Penn showed MMAWeekly the hand at UFC 40 and there is substanual swelling on the right hand. It's basically the middle knuckle that has a silver dollar size bump on it. It was thought to be broken at first, but now it's some sort of bizarre sprain. He will give it some rest and he believes he will be able to go for UFC 41
