  • Comments Thread For: Froch vs. Kessler II: HBO Has Interest in Airing The Fight

According to sources, HBO is looking to air the highly-anticipated rematch between Mikkel Kessler and Carl Froch, slated for May 25 at the O2 Arena in London, England.

The first encounter, which Kessler won by controversial unanimous decision, was televised by Showtime as part of its Super Six tourney and was one of the best fights of 2010. Do it!

Froch is a bigger name in America than Golovkin or any of those other scrubs.

With Golden Boy owning their own network now, HBO has lost a lot of potential fights. I guess HBO is willing to travel and have more foreigners on the network now for that reason.
