GO, this is STRIKERS we're talking about.

Cantona ranks higher P4P no doubt but he wasn't an out and out striker.

          Nistelrooy and Ronaldo?

Henrik scored goals on the world stage and on the league stage in 4 different leagues and he made it look easy.

Nistelrooy was a prospect in the Dutch Leagues. A force in the English League and a failure anywhere else he went.

Is this C Ronaldo we are talking about?

LOL. 1 good season and he's better than a seasoned Vet who has proved himself on the World stage and in every league he's ever been in?

if larsson left celtic earlier then he did say in 00 when there was heavy rumours off united signing him when nistelrooy got the injury to put the transfer on hold and still had the affect he had in the spl for a sustained period in the epl then yah you could hold a valid claim but this is the spl where talking about a division where chris sutton and john hartson where prolific goal scorers
good yah but not the greatest

Nistelrooy had a record of nearly a goal a game at PSV.

He was prolific at United and is profilic at Madrid.

No doubt Larsson was a superb striker but Ruud has his goals at a higher stage than the SPL.

A failure wherever else he went?, i think your foresight let you down on this one laddie.

He only lasted two months in the Premiership! He was a good finisher but could not create too many of his own chances and wasn't the best at skinning defenders. He was no El Niņo!

One of my fave players ever, he could have lft celtic whenever he wanted but he chose to stay where he felt was right, then at the end of his career he left to go to the worlds best team (at the time) he was still one of the better players and won the most highly regarded trophy in club football, theres only a few players in the past decade that come close to him imo.
