Anybody interested in an Aussie Lounge end-of-year tipping comp? We've got a few interesting bouts coming up to close out 2009. Including:

2nd Dec Green v RJJ

5th Dec Khan v salita and PWill v Martinez

12th Dec Diaz v Malignaggi 2 and Darchinyan v Rojas

On that note, mg and brently really need to step up their game.

Also, we need to coax ult/lakers19/st lion/ winky jab5 back in here. Its always more fun with him hanging around posting trash.

Cool, we've got a few so far and hopefully (hint hint) some more will join in too. We'll give it a go till the end of the year and if it's a success we can continue in 2010.

Ok, we need to make up some rules...

Obviously predictions must be in before fight starts.
Shall we work on a points system?

Correctly predicting the winning fighter = 3 points
Correctly predicting method of victory = 2 points (KO =TKO)

E.g Round One Kessler v Ward

Well, we all failed dismally in the first round. Ward won (Stoppage due to cuts caused by headbutt). So technically it's a win by decision.

Obviously I missed the first one but I would have gone for Kessler by decision anyways.

Right, here's a revised list of fights that will be taking place by years end starting this weekend. I've added a few more just to try and get some variation so we don't all end up picking the same.

Rules:

Picking winning fighter = 3 points
Picking winning fighter's method of victory = 2 points
