Right. I didn’t like Paulie much at first as a character. But he knew sum people would pay to see him lose. He fought a lot of top guys and his skill was evident. He could take a beating too. He was a tough guy. I was amazed at how good of a commentator he was. He didn’t run his mouth or talk over people. He could see the punches that did and didn’t land where non boxer commentators would scream out punches landing that never did. He was good for the sport. We like characters. His defence is all world. Even if u hate him that’s a form of enjoyment he gave you. If u thought he was rubbish then u secretly know that he never did worse than u predicted.
