Movie they showed on BET awhile back and show every so often

It was about this guy who was in a gang, he takes the fall for the gang. Ends up in jail... I believe his wife is a druggy, and his son who is still a kid is starting to become more and more part of the gang he once was in while his father is in jail. While his father is in jail, he learns that gang-life recked his life... Father gets out of jail, and sees what is happening to his own son with his eyes...


Good movie, forgot the name of it... Please help find it... It was a film I enjoyed, very emotional film.
