Everyone that hopkins lost to, sturm would lose to as well. You discredit the trinidad win for hopkins, yet trinidad would be able to beat the majority of guys that sturm defended his title against.

Trinidad wasn't a true MW, good but overrated win, Tito was a beast at WW.

I never said Hopkins was slow, but he has a weakness against fast 2 handed fighters his own size, such as Jones, Taylor and Calzaghe. Though I agree all three of those guys would beat Sturm. It's an interesting fight

hopkins has always been fantastic at neutralizing the jab, either with lateral movement, distance or by smothering the opponent. in all of hopkins fights you will never see an opponent who consistently was able to use the jab successfully. that is one of the best parts of hopkins game. and sturm without his jab is nothing.

If you look at Hopkins MW title wins and the natural MWs who he fought (not eithers losses), so that means not De La Hoya or Trinidad who were naturally smaller fighters, but the Joppys, Holmes, Echoles etc

Then look at Sturms MW title wins consisting of -

You find that their MW resumes arent as far apart as people would like you to believe.
We know Hopkins has a problem dealing with fast 2 handed fighters, losing to Jones, Taylor and Calzaghe, and Sturm is a fast 2 handed fighter

Taylor is an athletic fighter, something Sturm is not. Sturm is your typical Euro Robot jabber. What's your infatuation with strum? He's arguably lost his last 3 in a row. Get real. He's far from the fighter you're painting him as. he's not a 2 handed fast fighter, he's a 1 handed fighter who would get clinched and mauled in the inside with dirty boxing and cheap tactics.

It'd look a lot like the Winky fight with less headbutts.
