  • First time truck purchase... serious tips for truck noob

I need all the advice from you truck guys. I need a Pickup for DD and at most, I will be carrying light loads here and there. Initially, I was lookin at a Ford Raptor but it isnt too practical for work i realize.

I need something that’s more low key yet presentable so I narrowed it down to three.

    - GMC Sierra 1500... my god this one looks so hard and it aint common like a Chevy.

    - Dodge Ram Rebel

    - Chevy Silverado... not the new model that looks like sht. The square one

Toyota is top notch and I love Tundras but so many members in my circle have one. It’s the best in terms of reliability but I need something with a sturdier body.

I'd avoid Dodge vehicles like the plague.

My 2500 is solid! Has had no issues in 40k miles. I think the Rams of today are a lot different than yesterdays Rams.

Why'd you say that, man? Quite happy with the Challenger.

Dodge Ram won truck of the year so they must have changed things up? They got the best interior.

              Something about GMC though.

40k miles is nothing though. That’s fairly close to new still.

Go with either of the GM products. Long history of quality trucks

I’d go with an old school k5 with removable top.
