It's who you've fought. He's come out on top in all but two and arguably only one of those fights.

That isn't how a resume works. In that case Gabe Rosado has the best resume at 160 cause that dude has fought everybody and lost to almost everybody too.

He lost a UD to GGG in his home state. He has a KO loss on his record as well. Stupid threads like this one are the reason you are red.

He was clearly the B side and the less popular fighter in his home state as well. Golovkin's win over Jacobs was controversial.

Golovkin currently has the best resume at 160. When Jacobs fights Canelo, 2nd place will be determined. Golovkin fighting Jacobs without a weight restriction edges Canelo, considering that at worst Golovkin is 1-1 against Canelo.

Right now, GGG has the best resume at 160, but Canelo is on the path to take it over.

A simple, effective plan.

1. Let the first GGG fight "marinate" into GGG's mid 30s

2. Use PEDs to gain an unfair advantage and blame it on Mexican meat

3. Get the corrupt judges' decision in the first fight

4. Let the second fight wait awhile while using PEDs to gain as much of an unfair advantage as possible. GGG is another year older and slower -- 36! (An age when almost nobody is remotely near their prime, especially guys who mix it up)

5. Use those judges to assure that the only way Jacobs can win is to get a KO. Not going to happen.

6. Third match, perhaps, with a 37 or 38 year old Golovkin who HAS to get a KO to win

Boone has a great resume but unfortunately he lost almost all of those fights so you can't consider him as a top fighter. You must have an appropriate W/L ratio to accompany your resume.
