  • Would Froch beat Ward in a UK rematch?

Ward beat Froch the first time out but people forget that was the closest fight Ward has ever been in and he really just won it by the skin of his teeth. Froch won most (if not all) of the championship rounds, and two of the judges scored it 115-113 to Ward which means that Ward won by only 2 rounds on their cards - had Froch won only one more round on each of those judges scorecards, the fight would have been ruled a majority draw!

So how would the fight go down in the UK with Froch having the home advantage this time around? Does Froch beat Ward in another close fight or would Ward do enough to win it?

    The cards were too close.

Ward wins anywhere the fight is judged fairly.

Froch has nothing else to offer Ward.

Unless the judges are completely bent Ward wins.

The fight wasn't close at all, Froch won 3 rounds max, 1 of those 3 rounds could've gone either way.

A fully healthy Ward absolutely schools him, if Froch can't even beat Ward with a badly broken hand that he came into the fight with he has no chance against him at 100%.

Ward wins when and wherever this fight takes place.

115-113 was bollocks, anyone watching the first fight could see that Ward was far too slick and was the ring general. He made Froch miss and landed great counters.

Froch closed well, and he did start slow. He was chasing the fight after the first four.
