Let's Start The 1st Annual BS Hip Hop Awards

We'll hold the event in December after the last big album of the year drops, and vote on categories. I'll need some help from you guys on all the choices but these are the ones that I listed...

1. Best Album of the Year

2. Artist of the Year

3. Producer of the Year

4. Song/ Track of the Year

5. Collaboration of the Year

You can add one if you think we should use it.. As far as voting goes, we will pick a panel of all the frequent posters here who have made this part of Boxingscene such an awesome piece of thread.

We each control one vote, and we will figure out tie breakers etc later.

What all constitutes "hip-hop"? You should differentiate between rap album, rap collaboration with R&B/pop, R&B album...

For example, NERD's album - does it go up against Nas's?

Collaboration - a singer and rapper or two rappers or all together, etc.?

I guess we have to decide that, I think we could mash it all up into one and include NERD's album. And for Collabo it could be two rappers, or a singer, or whatever.

I'm not a fan of Kanye, but that new track is alright. I prefer his singing then his rapping.
