A Smaller Fighter Can't Win

Yeah, most fans, even here, don't watch Gonzalez and don't know anything about him. It's a shame because he's by far the most impressive offensive fighter in boxing. They keep saying he should move up when he has already moved up 4 divisions. Most fighters in those weight classes can't possibly do what he has done, and people keep asking for more because they have no idea what he's done already.

Roman gets hate for the wrong reasons it seems. I've literally seen fans that hate him just because he's on the same cards as Golovkin and fights on HBO, so he's guilty by association. And too many people compare him to previous top p4p guys like Floyd and Pac, which isn't fair as he should be compared to other top fighters in this era, not the previous one.

And most people on boxingscene are shorter and fatter than Roman, so I can't understand why he doesn't get more appreciation.
