I think Canelo ended up stealing the night. No one is talking about that MMA fight now, they're taIking about Canelo making history. Canelo was leading in Worldwide trends on Twitter last night. You can view it as a nice undercard appetizer for the Canelo fight, you always save the best for last.

I agree with this. At first I was a little upset. The fans in attendance and the fighters probably didn't like it much, but fans watching at home were able to see both. That's kind of cool. Had some of the other fights on the undercard gone the full length, the main event would have started around the time it did anyways.

Someone is very salty I thought that delay was a smart move so alot more people could watch canelo fight in a cashing in fight cause kovalov cashed in we all know it. Im a fan of mma kickboxing and boxing and a participate in kickboxing and boxing I would do mma but I hate fighting bs wrestlers who done like to strike but only want to grapple. (Yes I can grapplec but I'd rather strike ) But mma is a blend of all martial arts not just a 1 sport specialist if your good at it. UFC people are top notch fighters the shade your throwing I bet you wouldnt say to McGregor Nate Diaz face or even sage northcutt unless you feel like getting bully beat down Maybe Rousey cause she's so one dimensional can't strike and was beating people in a shallow division that once it got depth she wasn't even top 3. Unless you participated in the sport or sports STFU and sit down. Don't even try to compare sports they're different yet similar sports like football and rugby. From my experience alot of boxers tried kickboxing once but chose to stay boxing once they caught a knee elbow or kick then was like f... That ima stay boxing and well kickboxers we have to learn boxing cause we throw hands outside our kicks knees and elbows and we can easily switch to boxing and be good at it ( neiky holzken Chris algerie Dillion whyte Tyrone Spong to name a few. I'd rather be a kickboxer anyday for we can easily switch over and be contenders or champions in either mma (Alistair overeem stephon Thompson) plus more or switch to boxing and I gave you 4 examples earlier of contenders though I think Chris did win a paper belt.

December 14 is Commey vs Lopez and Crawford on ESPN or ESPN plus

Well crawford never gets good ratings let's face the fact plus the bigger fact that Crawford is wasting god given talent staying with top rank during his prime. Should've signed to haymon or hearn. Also yes it's on ESPN plus dec 14 well the UFC has 3 title fights December 14th on ESPN so yes Crawford would be lucky to get more than 200k views in the USA that night. I believe both sports needs to coordinate there schedules better to maximize views. The UFC has overtaken boxing in views in the USA unless it a heavyweight fight like AJ or wilder vs fury or any pacquiao fight also a canelo fight vs anybody who isn't getting cherry picked like vs Fielding or kovalov

roids is big in both sports last time I checked half the heavyweight division popped for roids even canelo popped for roids. Yes it's true alot not all mma fighters wouldn't be good boxers but the same is true for boxers most of them unless have a kickboxing background wouldn't be good at mma. Bhop is biased hes a boxer who wouldn't last 1 round vs Jon Jones or let alone even 3 vs a Chuck Liddell since they're the same age and both talk like they're punch drunk sadly (but that a risk we all know signing up for combat sports). yeah I was pissed because I just wanted to see Canelo vs Kov and since I'm in NY, that s*** didn't start until after 1am. I watched masvidal vs Diaz to kill time and although I like both guys, I would've gladly passed on watching it to watch boxing. Boxing played b*** in a main event with its biggest star and a known name for a ufc fight with 2 guys that had 24 losses between them. That's pretty telling.
