There's some pretty interesting research on stress that shows it doesn't really increase past a certain point due to external stimuli & is mostly determined by how developed your coping mechanisms are. I don't have it handy, just going by memory.

So while millennials who spent ages 1-25 being brainwashed by a television screen may have panic attacks when from slow wifi, they might actually not be wrong about life being more stressful than ever. If your stress levels are determined mostly by how developed your internal coping mechanisms are, and they have completely undeveloped coping mechanisms due to lack of exposure, then they're possibly the most anxiety-ridden generation in history.

There's some Navy SEAL out there who's heart rate doesn't increase when he's being shot at & a pimply college SJW who is in serious danger of a fatal stroke when cuz of slow wifi. It may seem funny but on a chemical level they would actually be experiencing unbearable psychological pain.

As far as the worst generation in history topic, yeah, boomers. Nothing comes close. Millennials aren't at a crossroads where they get to choose between space colonization & hard drugs/flushing the West into the third-world/not bathing. Millennials are just innocently clueless. Boomer culture was a sick & malicious war on their own descendants.
