Yea, Green River, AIC, Mudhoney, Flipper, Scratch Acid, Mad Season, Meat Puppets, Sonic youth, pixies etc. I got into all of them through Nirvana. I have tons of Nirvana bootlegs. Tried to listen to screaming trees but couldnt get into them. Arson Anthem are a decent modern hardcore punk band.

Same. I got into Nirvana in my early teens and looked up more Seattle bands. Cheers for reminding me of Scratch Acid. Nah I couldn't get into Screaming Trees either. I love Dinosaur Jr though. Particularly You're Living All Over Me.
