Dal is kind of a North Indian version, my family is from South we make tons of variants like Dal(call it Sambar) but more flavorful. Never heard a mango curry though don't know how you got that one.
I know you guys are big in curries too and iirc it was brought by Indians who came to work on sugarcane fields. I love jerk chicken.

Yeah. Like I said Indians had a big impact on our culture they brought ganja here too.
