Not one Trump supporter in this thread has an issue with the way Trump is treating illegal immigrant children yet suddenly are upset with pictures from 4 years ago. It is well known that Obama deported more illegals than any other President. \

The difference of course is Obama didn't come out on national TV and call them "criminals and rapists" and drawing unwanted attention and anger.

Had Trump approached this from a "American" perspective instead of a "white nationalist" perspective then there wouldn't be any coverage.

Of course Trump wants the negative media coverage because his idiot supporters get angry and use this as a litmus test of being a "real american".

I think the difference in those pics is during the Obama administration many of those kids in the pics came unaccompanied. This current administration is taking away the kids from their families in order to prosecute the adults. Either way, Immigration has been a problem for a very long time, shame on past administrations for letting things go as long as it has and for leaving things for a guy like Trump. Theres plenty of ways things couldve been taken care of with more lenient/moderate presidents but it wasnt.

Obama dealt with immigration as an American issue. Trump is dealing with it as outreach to his white nationalist/ racist base.

Trump and his team are the ones pushing this in the media because it galvanizes his base. Obama and his team didn't because his supporters are not in favor of deporting illegals.

The hypocrites are you and the rest of the Trump supporters that act like Trump is the 1st person to tackle the issue of illegal immigrants. He isn't. He's the only one that has a base of idiots that get excited by treating people this way.

Why are you twisting it?

The media did not care when kids were "locked up" under Obama, although it was and still is temporary holding. These photos recently circulated all around Twitter and social media by high profile media members, blaming Trump for it.

When it turned out these photos were actually from 2014, they all deleted their Tweets and posts, and then crickets. Zero outburst about how this happened under Obama and under policies he implemented, kids were able to be detained for up to months.
