Jose Luis Castillo fought the better opposition Diego Corrales, Floyd Mayweather, Stevie Johnston, casamayor, Lascano, Julio Diaz, Hatton, Bazan, Lujan and Mayweather.. At one point this guy was unstoppable and fought anyone they put in front of him.. Too bad he did not know when to stop fighting..Cotto's best win was against a 37 yeasr old Mosely... Jose Luis beat a prime Corrales, Casamayor, Stevie Johnston and lost a questionable decision to Mayweather.. enough said..

That's why they canceled the third fight as well. JLC failed to make weight again. and Corrales didn't go on with the fight cuz' of what happened in the 2nd fight.
thats true. then corralles went on to do the same thing to casamayor, but lost a close fight. not that that makes it any better from castillo's pov.

thinking about it, the castillo, corralles, casamayor triangle is a very underrated triangle. all of them were solid fighters, among the best in their divisions only overshadowed by floyd perhaps. but there were some good fights between those three.

              biased much??
Cotto beat Margarito in a clean fight and lost a questionable one. Wheras Corrales knocked Castillo out and was shot in the second fight (as was castillo) but Corrales made the weight and had a weight disadvantage in the rematch, and you want to call that more of a legit win than cotto over margs gtfo. As for Mayweather I believe Castillo did enough to win that 1st fight he LOST and Mayweather schooled him the second time around. Mayweather never fought Cotto so we cant say anything about that because Floyd ducked that one. Cotto also beat guys like Bailey, Malignaggi, Quintana, all at their BEST. His resume imo is better than Castillo's respectively.

Agreed, It's really underrated. If Castillo would have gotten the decision against Floyd in the first bout it would have put him over the top IMO.

Floyd skills are so nice that you mentioned him twice.

Mosley was had more in the tank for Cotto than what Corrales had in the rematch for JLC. And, Cotto didn't have to come in over the weight-limit to win either.

Blah, Margarito was done a shell of himself....Completely shot had nothing left. Even more worse off than Cotto was and even with a pre-damaged eye going into the bout to make it worse.

I don't have any problem with someone saying that Corrales win is a more legit win than the Marg win. But, it's not by very much.

Cotto has more depth than what JLC has IMO.

                    And, Floyd didn't duck Cotto.

It seems like the bias one here is you sir.
