Which players will they lose for the next World Cup, and do they have talent ready to replace them?
Likely no one because they all have one more World Cup left in them to play.

Mbappe will be their golden child. We forget he's only 19 years old

The Russophobia was perpetuated by the Western media. Instead, it failed badly as Russia was generally welcoming

Same. I actually hope to see everyone on that thread, no matter how silly the posts because at least the thread will be kept alive. There's been a lot of downtime when things aren't happening in league football. It's been refreshing checking in and seeing at least 4 pages of new content to read

Most of the French team is immigrants. They even have a Filipino on there.

    Trump's a bum

With all the head injuries and recent brain injury drama that has surrounded the NFL many parents are choosing to put their kids in other sports. It used to be that one would walk through middle and high schools (I work in education) and kids would be wearing NFL,NBA or MLB gear. Today it's NBA and Barcelona, Madrid and United gear. Kids are talking Messi and Ronaldo as much as LeBron.

If this keeps up we may finally be able to get our best athletes playing the game and the US can become a powerful soccer nation.
I'm glad, the more countries then the better IMO

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ShoulderRoll is a top dude, he'd do well in the specialist role you've assigned him

Also Sparked, forgot to quote your post earlier about Modric and … he didn't blame the English media for the final loss lol

    • I don't know what would have happened if England had been in the final and had been humiliated by France. BREXIT, Trump, then France. It would have been to much all at once; the island would have slipped into the North Sea.

        • Welp. I already miss it...

Crazy how the tournament is only every four years... so much changes in such a short/long time-span.

I also can't believe I'm actually older than Mbappe!

Never really troubled the French defence or keeper that much.
I thought they were defo having better of the play and creating better chances, especially when the score was even. Once they went down a goal, and then more, against a counter attacking team, France started creating more.

At very least, 4-2 was not indicative of the game I saw

            • Lovren claimed the best side lost.

I thought that line of thought was dead. England had 58% possession against another possession based team in Belgium. I’ve not even seen that game but I know England didn’t do s.hit.

I felt France were coiled like a spring that whole game. You can play like that. These seasoned pros talk about it like it’s illegal to play on the break when they likely play or even play in that style most weeks.

              Sour grapes.

The best side is the one that scores the most.. people get caught up possession.. shots on target and other such stats.. Football's a simple game put the ball in the net more then the other team

You can't claim to be the better side if you can't do that

You don't get points/goals for having more possession... (insert some other stat)

                • I cant believe people are saying the PK was the wrong decision.

Its true that none of us saw it at first but with the replays you cant possibly not call it...

Most media seem to say it was the wrong call though. What am i missing?

Especially if the other team scores 4 ffs. I know one was a pen but ones of Croatia’s goals was a dude tackling the ball into the net.

The World Cup was full of salty teams.

Another reason why England emerge with credit.

                    No one likes excuses man.

                    • Safe to say England will be strong favourites for the 2022 World Cup??

By then we'll have my boy Rhian Brewster(think Mbappes good, wait till you see this kid), Phil Foden(midfield magician), Jadon Sancho, Lofty bum cheeks in his prime, Bobby Duncan(Gerrards cousin), Trent Alexander Arnold will be Liverpool captain by then, Lio Gerrard(will be 5 years old but IF YOU'RE GOOD ENOUGH YOU'RE OLD ENOUGH), Kyle Walker Peters, Curtis Jones etc.

                      Some serious talent coming through.
