Did Windows do an update and I didn't know about it?

Windows is running extremely nice for me, it must sense my Mac Osx on my other harddrive. I'm guessing its getting jealous? Or did Windows update their os so its more protected and runs nicer. I'm shocked how nothing is messing up.
