          Gardner was fat but he was no joke. Karelin would have done well in mma. Would have loved to see him fight Fedor. Would have loved to see him school Brock Lesnar.

                Not sure his sub defence would have held up against guys like Nog, Fedor, Barnett etc in the 00s but he most likely would have won many of the tournament era UFCs in the 90s. I dont think the likes of Coleman or Severn would have had much for him stylistically back then.

                    He would have done great in MMA. But being that fighters were slow to adapt, I wouldn't be surprised if he were submitted early... and often.

                    Supposedly, he had experience Boxing, and even with SAMBO. I


                    It wouldn't have required much for him to dominate. But for a lot of Wrestlers, it's still a commitment they don't wish to make.
