Fine, don't buy it. Good on you for being thicker than molasses in winter.

Kathy Duva has said as much and she is without a doubt one of the most honest and straightforward people in the fight game.

Even if Wlad fights Adamek is September how is that an indictment of him? Adamek is just another example of a fight that Haye would never sign onto out of fear of getting beaten up.

I just want to know why the fight didn't get signed for July 2nd. That's it. Why didn't the Adamek-Klitschko fight get signed for July 2nd?

Edit: This matters because Haye claims his last fight is going to be in October and at this point the only chance left for a Wlad-Haye fight is October... and there's no way Wlad fights Haye in October after Adamek in September.

Of course, this is all assuming Wlad fights Adamek.

Adamek and Wlad did not sign to fight each other. Adamek signed a contract to fighter "either Klitschko".

The reason for that is because Wlad would prefer to fight Haye and leave Adamek for Vitali.

However, the reason that Wlad vs. Adamek has been publicized as the likely match up is because everyone involved knows that the chances of Haye sacking up and agreeing to fight Wlad are slim to none.
When has Vitali ever elected to take on the skilled boxer? Back in 2003, the Klitschkos made an agreement for Vitali to avoid the boxers, and for Wlad to avoid the hard hitters. Its a formula that works well for them. In their perfect vision it will be Vitali fighting Haye and Wlad fighting Adamek.

This is why Wlad is being such a douchebag with the negotiations. He is trying to defer the fight to big brother.

Both Klits are available that date. Adamek is fighting a week before Wlad, so that makes it more fair for Wlad (if he ends up fighting Adamek), yet the fight is still going to be in September. Why is that?
They will give Adamek as much time and room as he needs because those pillow fists pose no threat to Wlad.

But Haye is dangerous which is why they are trying their best to inconvenience him with scheduling. July 2nd means they will either catch him on 6 weeks rest or coming off an 8 month Lay-off.

Exactly the idea is he'll be rusty and the Klits will be sharp. Again it was Haye that turned down the offer of an April date due to the Royal wedding.

Right, cause Juan Carlos Gomez and Kevin Johnson would certainly be classified as hard hitters and not boxers.

I remember when Haye was supposed to fight Kevin Johnson. Of course he ducked out of that matchup to take on the shot to **** Monte Barrett.

Does anybody know why Wlad-Haye can only can only happen in July and not August-October?

2 July was a date they agreed to keep free in negotiations.

K2 said their condition was Haye doesn't fight. He said OK as long as you don't fight.

They said no we are going to fight. You can't fight. Cos you're more likely to lose the belt and theres two of us. We can't BOTH lose the belt.

                    Negotiations broke down.

I have to give it to Wlad for always being the chess player, But he needs to save that bs for the ring and stop fcking up the negotiations.

He pulled a similar stunt on Chris Byrd back in 2000. The slave contract kept Byrd on Ice for 6 months following the Vitali win, while Wlad was allowed as many tuneups as he liked.
