    LIVE PLAY-BY-PLAY:

    -Chuck Liddell vs. Rashad Evans
    R1 – They start slow, but with Liddell scoring first with the right hand. Evans scores with an overhand right about one and a half minutes in, but Liddell fires right back, knocking Evans back a step. Evans starts switching stances late in the round, but neither fighter throwing much. Evans lands a couple of leg kicks, but eats a counter-right on the second. Liddell scores a mild flurry just before the round closes.

    R2 – A solid exchange to start off the round with Liddell edging ahead with a little more accuracy. Evans starting to get more active lands with a left hook. As Liddell moves in with an uppercut, Evans drops the hammer with an overhand right, crushing Liddell’s left jaw and sending him drifting to the canvas.

    -Rich Franklin vs. Matt Hamill
    R1 – Hamill keeps his guard high, so Franklin immediately starts attacking with leg kicks. As Franklin scores with an inside leg kick, Hamill lands a solid uppercut. Franklin starts utilizing his hands to distract and scores with stronger kicks to the legs. Somewhere along the way, Franklin suffers a cut on his right eyebrow. Hamill finally scores a takedown and immediately tries to unleash ground and pound, but Franklin locks on an armbar. Hamill escapes, but Franklin backs out and they return to their feet. Hamill is now cut on his right eyebrow as well.

    R2 – Franklin goes right back to the leg kick. Hamill shoots in, but Franklin unleashes a flurry of punch and kick combinations. On the break, the referee stops to have Franklin’s cut check, which looks like there is a loose flap of skin hanging from the corner of his eye now. The fight continues and Franklin continues to punish Hamill with a solid combination of punches and kicks. Franklin scores a kick to the face of Hamill, who hangs in tough, before he receives an inadvertent kick to the groin. They start back up, Franklin continuing to the push the pace with his striking. Franklin does a good job defending Hamill’s takedown attempts, and is causing Hamill to limp from the repeated leg kicks and continues his barrage as the round closes.

    R3 – Round three starts much the same with Franklin accumulating damage with his strikes, then he lands a solid left kick to the ribs of Hamill, dropping him to the mat. Franklin follows him down to start throwing punches, but the referee immediately steps in to stop the fight.

    -Dan Henderson vs. Rousimar Palhares
    R1 – Palhares drops down to shoot, but eats a Henderson right hand before they scramble back to the feet. Time after time, Henderson defends Palhares’ takedown attempts, and gives him a quick right hand for his attempts. Henderson unloads a flurry on Palhares, who fires back with various kicks, landing a couple to the body. Palhares goes for the takedown, nearly gets it, but Henderson delivers a couple good shots before Palhares moves to side control and then half guard as the round closes.

    R2 – Henderson fends off a couple of takedowns by Palhares, landing the right hand on the shot, but Palhares finally scoops Henderson up and puts him on his back. Palhares goes for a leg and nearly secures a heel hook, but Henderson scrambles out and back to the feet. Henderson scores with a left and follows with the right before they go the ground with Henderson in Palhares’ guard. Henderson stays tight in the guard defending the sweep, while dropping intermittent elbows. They are stood back up. Henderson scores with a straight right.

    R3 – A couple of brief exchanges to start the round as Palhares switches stances to southpaw. Henderson starts to score more frequently with the right hand, but Palhares fires back. The pace slows through the middle of the round. Henderson scores with the right hand again. Henderson mixes in the jab and scores the right again, defends Palhares’ takedown attempt and drops a hammer fist before returning to the feet. Palhares goes for a knee bar, but Henderson defends immediately, and scores again with the right hand and the fight finishes with Palhares on his back eating a couple of Henderson shots for good measure.

    -Nate Marquardt vs. Martin Kampmann
    R1 – Brief exchanges to start. Kampmann lands the first hard shot, but Marquardt fires back. He drops Kampmann with a head kick. They stand and clinch. Marquardt lands a flurry of strikes moving back and forth from head to body. Kampmann is backed up against the fence as Marquardt increases the intensity in his flurry, hurting a crumpling Kampmann as the fight is stopped.

    -Dong Hyun Kim vs. Matt Brown
    R1 – The fighters clinch and scramble to the ground where Kim nearly takes Brown’s back as they move back to standing. Kim finally climbs up on Brown’s back and locks on a rear naked choke, but Brown is able to fend him off. Kim goes for Brown’s back again, but Brown puts Kim on his back on the mat before they scramble back to their feet. They spend the next couple minutes exchanging strikes and position before Kim takes Brown down, but Brown nearly secures a side choke. Kim scrambles out and takes Brown’s back again, looking for a Kimura before the round ends.

    R2 – Brown starts off the round trying to land several kicks. Good flying knee attempt by Kim before Brown unloads some solid knees of his own from a Thai clinch. Kim attempts a takedown, but Brown defends well, stays in top position and starts to work Kim over with short punches. Brown takes Kim down, stands up in guard and eats and up-kick before spinning back into guard and dropping punches. He then lets Kim come up to standing and starts in with knees from the Thai clinch. Brown takes Kim down and unleashes an onslaught of punches and elbows to close the round.

    R3 – Kim looks more and more weary as the fight wears on. Action is stopped briefly as Brown forgot his mouthpiece. After a minute of careful exchanges, Kim takes Brown down, but they get back up quickly and Brown lands a solid knee to Kim’s chin. He then starts working the body with knees again. Kim lands a strong left hook with little over two minutes left in the fight, they clinch, and Kim gets the takedown. Kim starts a slow ground and pound attack, but Brown defends well and fires elbows up from his back. Kim lands a strong couple of elbows opening up a cut just below Brown’s left eye, scoring the most serious damage of the fight.

    -Kurt Pellegrino vs. Thiago Tavares
    R1- Pellegrino catches Tavares in the opening seconds of the bout with a huge punch that puts the Brazilian down. Seeming like he may have been out, Tavares survives and gets back up only to be met by another big punch. Pellegrino follows him to the ground, getting the mount, but he is unable to finish and Tavares gets back to half guard. Tavares gets back to his feet at one point showing tremendous heart, but Pellegrino gets him down again before the round ends.

    R2- Tavares opens with a high kick, but misses. As the fighters trade punches, Tavares accidentally pokes Pellegrino in the eye and the fight is paused. Back in action, Tavares keeps pursuing Pellegrino, but it's Pellegrino who lands the better strikes while Tavares looks for the takedown. Eventually, Tavares scores a nice trip takedown as he works for punches and elbow strikes. Pellegrino shifts his hips from the bottom and locks on an armbar, but Tavares gets out. It appears on replay that he may have tapped, but the fight isn't stopped. Tavares then continues his ground attack, with forearms, elbows and hammer fists. Very, very close round.

    R3- Another very hard fought round between the two lightweights. Tavares shoots early looking for the takedown, but Pellegrino holds on to his neck almost getting a guillotine before forcing his opponent down. The fighters get back up, as Tavares lands a nice throw on Pellegrino, but he reverses and almost takes his opponent's back. The fighters transition another time on the ground before getting back up again. Close round to end the fight.

    -Tim Boetsch vs. Michael Patt
    R1- Boetsch and Patt exchange strikes early on with neither fighter gaining the clear upper hand. Patt seems to play a defensive game while Boetsch attacks. Eventually, Boetsch scores a huge right hand landing on Patt's jaw putting him down. Boetsch followed up with some heavy strikes before referee Herb Dean stops the fight

    -Jason MacDonald vs. Jason Lambert
    R1- MacDonald tags Lambert early, then working for a good takedown. Lambert grabs on for a guillotine choke, but MacDonald gets out and MacDonald starts to work for punches from his opponent's guard. MacDonald works Lambert over with a good variety of punches and elbows. As the round comes to a close, Lambert gets another guillotine from the bottom, this time very tight, but MacDonald sensing the end of the round holds on.

    R2- Both fighters open with some very heavy punches before MacDonald seems to get the upper hand, and he again takes Lambert down. MacDonald is able to move to mount and as Lambert gives up his back, his opponent locks on a body triangle before sinking in a rear naked choke. Lambert taps out.

    -Ryo Chonan vs. Roan Carneiro
    R1 - Carneiro goes for a takedown early, but Chonan sprawls and Carneiro instead pulls guard. After a brief exchange on the ground, Carneiro is able to lock on an oma plata, but Chonan gets out and Roan is in his half guard. Carneiro works a ground and pound attack, before Chonan eventually gets back up. The fighters trade punches to end the round

    R2- Chonan connects with a punch early on and Carneiro loses a step, and goes to the ground and Chonan falls into his guard. From there, Chonan works for ground and pound, pushing Carneiro against the cage while working for small punches. Chonan is able to maintain position, but never lands anything solid while Carneiro keeps his defense strong, but doesn't do much offensive as the round ends

    R3- The fighters exchange early in the round, but Carneiro quickly shoots in for a takedown. Chonan is able to resist and the two fighters begin to clinch against the cage, working for position. After the fighters separate, Chonan throws a kick, only to be caught and taken down by Carneiro. Carneiro works for punches inside of Chonan's half guard as the fighters battle on the ground. Chonan is eventually able to push off and get back up, before taking Carneiro ground with not much more action before the round ends.
