imagine if pac makes him the agressor
      and pac the counter puncher
How good is Pac as a counter puncher though? He has weak defense, slower hands, and a shorter reach...

Pacquiao has actually become an underrated counter puncher. Mayweather would have problems coming right at Pacquiao, he'd be better off making Pac come at him.

he is good againts a coming forward type of fighters

he gets tag less when his againts an agressor

it is easier for u to reach the opponent when the opponent is moving towards u

set little traps for him coming in.

base your whole strategy off him coming in.

yea.....floyd really isn't that good as the aggressor, he usually just throws a right hand and falls into a clinch/inside, or a left hook and falls into the clinch/inside

basically, floyd as aggressor = limited fighter who's easy to read

and none of those guys were counter punchers

but even though i say this when he leads he because extremely cautious(more so than usual), so countering him still wouldn't be easy

also have you noticed that the 3 fights you mentioned he got caught, and caught big?

Genaro Hernandez was a superb counter puncher and Floyd was the aggressor when they fought.

Tends to happen when you are the aggressor. The key is that none of them caught Floyd anywhere near often enough to make much a difference. Although, Ortiz never caught Floyd big. He hit him clean a couple times, but never on the level Judah or Mosley did.

floyds first step is to tire any aggressor

thats why u see him as the counter puncher and backpedals from round 1-5

then when he realizes that his opponent is already tire and upset

then he goes for the attack and becomes the aggressor
