Paul had the stronger/wider vocal range, but Lennon had the edge in song writing and was a reet dry humoured bloke. I'll give it to Lennon.

Everyone will go with Lennon as that is the cooler option.
"A Hard Day's Night" - Lennon
"Back in the U.S.S.R." McCartney
"Come Together" Lennon
"Eleanor Rigby" McCartney, with Lennon
"Get Back" McCartney
Hello, Goodbye" McCartney
"Help!" Lennon, with McCartney
"Here Comes the Sun" Harrison
"Hey Jude" McCartney
"I Am the Walrus" Lennon
"Let It Be" McCartney
"Love Me Do" McCartney
"Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" Lennon, with McCartney
"Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" McCartney
"Yesterday" McCartney
My two favourite Beatles songs. Both written by McCartney.

Some may differ, as it's cool to be different.

It is hard to argue that Lennon is less cool than McCartney.

I don't know, he wore glasses on occasion. That's got to have some weight.
It's interesting though that George was the first to have a #1 solo hit. He's often the overlooked one.

Lennon is professional, Yoko is amateur though.

He's probably mine too. Think he'd have been a good bloke to have a pint with.
Never any love for Ringo.
