If live in a inner city area or place with any light pollution? I doubt you have ever seen the stars properly from earth. Apparently on a clear night, in a place with zero artificial light you can see space in by far greater detail.

The state of reality in the core of a galaxy is entirely unknown and inexplainable.

Imagine that in the middle of the galaxy is a vacuum of gravity so intense that it holds hundreds of billions of stars together.

If you go to the core of the galaxy, an area of space the size of a ping pong ball would weigh more than septillions of tons. And imagine if you could look microscopically into the core of the galaxy. The gravity, the pressure, the state of reality would be absolutely unimaginable.
Actually no, in the center of the galaxy is a space alien that poses as god, but don't worry captain kirk gets him blown up. I saw it in star trek 5

The deeper you go into an object of massive gravity, the stronger the gravity gets.

So you have to imagine what kind of material is in the planet's core that can withstand that kind of pressure and gravity, that is greater than everything outside of it, and can keep the planet's entire mass together and the moon in orbit.

Nobody actually knows what's in the planet's core precisely for that reason, because the gravity and forces are so great and intense.

              Anything can be possible really.

What's an even bigger mind trip is, imagining what could be in the sun's core, or what's in a hypergiant star millions of times bigger than the sun, or in a super-massive black hole.

What kind of state can matter possibly be in under that much gravity and pressure. It's unfathomable.

Gravity could work different done there... Also applies to other planets. Who says only the outer shell of a planet is the only place inhabitle?..
