  • Alexander Povetkin vs. Hasim Rahman: who will win?

Povetkin's next fight will be against the WBA mandatory, age 39 Hasim Rahman (rated BoxRec #62 at HW).

Who will win? Does Rahman have a chance of beating Povetkin?

Povetkin appears to have declined from working with Teddy Atlas and he showed some vulnerability in his fight with Huck. And as we say in his first fight with Lennox Lewis, Rahman has one-punch KO power, although he's slowing down with age.

He did beat Monte Barrett and Kali Meehan during that time. But no one is saying that he's not faded.

Rahman is younger than Vitali. Why couldn't he do well like Vitali has? Is he not smart enough to keep himself in shape?

Have you not followed his career?

Rahman is about as done as Brewster and Peter.

Rahman is close to 6'3". He has longer arms (29 1/2") and wingspan (82") than the Klitshkos.

Wlad has 26" arms and 81" wincspan.
Vitali has 29" arms but only 80" wingspan.

There's no excuse for Rahman to not have done better. Maskaev was in his late 30s when he had his second KO of Rahman, 4 years older than Hasim.
