At least it saved people from 12 boring rounds of clinching, low blows, and headbutts
Actually Hopkins didn't make anyone do anything HBO's budget was fcked up so they tried to have it on PPV to gain some profit and it messed them up worse.

If HBO's profit wasn't messed it would never have been on PPV.

Oscar was never any good at MW so if you want to make excuses and put qualifiers on his win I guess you could. Trinidad (also wasn't great in his limited time north of 154, but his wins over William Joppy and Ricardo Mayorga make him decent enough) and Winky Wright would be the two. I don't think Tarver makes the HOF.

Bernard forced Winky to move up to 170 for the fight.

Wright was at his best at 154.

If that's the case Oscar forced Hopkins to move down and 156 pound weight drained Hopkins still knocked him out.

Btw, not talking to you, but i love certain hypocrits who cry about catchweight fights and discredit wins like pac vs cotto but ignore how Hopkins could win by KO at 156
