  • Comments Thread For: Hooker: I'd Shock Prograis; Make It Easier Than People Think

Regis Prograis beat Maurice Hooker in an amateur match Hooker believes he definitely won. Hooker hopes he gets an opportunity to avenge that defeat by boxing the former WBA 140-pound champion in what could be the next fight for both boxers. Dallas' Hooker respects Prograis, yet he is confident he'd out-box the powerful southpaw from New Orleans.

LOL! He will whip you worse than Ramirez did Hooker! Hooker should fight Easter that would be classic though. Who can hula hoop through a crispy creme doughnut.

Styles make fights, and I think Prograis' style is better suited for him than Ramirez's was. This said, it's still a hard fight for him to win, but would be fun to watch.

Get it done, Eddie! I predict Regis to stop Mo quicker than Ramirez did. Mo doesn't have the power to keep Regis off him so he'll get walked down once Regis gets a feel for things. It'll be a fun watch though but I only give Mo a 20% chance to win this. Would be a good bounce back fight for Regis and should set him up for a fight with the likes of Baranchyk, Postol, Zepeda, Easter etc.

Prograis would destroy him. Same with baranchyk and subriel matias. Taylor? Lets not even go there. This guy had a respectable reign and 1 goodish win against flanagan. He robbed perez years ago

Hooker sleeps him. Idk how Ramirez took some of those shots.

This is a fight that could very likely become huge inside and outside the ring. This could be a southern US classic if executed properly. In hindsight the most appropriate time for this was probably within a small window of about 3 months last year (when both were legit champs). This could be a sell out non-title fight in Houston or Dallas if marketed properly. Get behind this one DAZN. Mighty Mo has sent the first shot, I have no doubt Rougarou will have a response. Just make sure we all hear it.
