Joe Cole from the ages of 17-25 was one of my favourite players. Beautiful technique and balance.

But the last injury has killed him. Anyone who saw him for Chelsea after he came back knew this.

What's funny is that Cole has now somehow morphed into prime Zidane in peoples eyes, just because he has neat skills and wasn't involved in the debacle of the first two games of the WC.
