Not really, if it was a kickboxing match against a guy his own size he probably would have gotten destroyed. Boxers are better at boxing, MMA fighters are better at MMA etc. These cross code fights don't prove anything other than that.

I am a boxing fan, don't follow kick boxing that much (if any), but Floyd didn't show anything. Cant imagine what will happen if Floyd fought a prime Ramon Dekkers or Masato with kicks allowed...

To show which combat sport is superior it has to be the same weight, bought experienced.

If kick boxers come to boxing, they will get an ass whopping, if kicks are allowed its a different story.

A superior boxer with beat other martial artists at his own game (in all due to experience).

This is why we shouldn't have cross code combat sports and stick to one lane or have both sides on an even plain field.

If Mayweather came to a kick boxing or cage bout he would get destroyed.
