What a player this fella was. Up there with the best finishers of all time. I can only imagine how many goals he would have scored for Utd if they had of bought him instead of Cole. Obviously Shearer would have had similar success as well. Come to think of it, they both sacrificed winners medals year after year because they loved their club. I know van Nistelrooy had/has an incredible scoring record, but he was never someone who I thought was that good, despite the goals.
