  • Max Kellerman: Manny Pacquiao has a case for the best pound-for-pound fighter ever

On Max on Boxing, Kellerman says Pacquiao's win over Keith Thurman added onto his many accomplishments makes him have a case to top the all time P4P list.

Two back to back Fighter of the Decade awards is one thing, but all time pound for pound fighter of all time is probably a bit of a stretch.

I think he's already the best lb4lb of all time after the margarito fight. No one came close to pac achievements.

      Max is a fkn idiot

way to torpedo your own credibility

FACT: if Armstrong fought in a era that had 100+ world "titles", and 17 different divisions..... rather than a era with 8 world champions, and 8 divisions..... he would have truckloads of the rubbish that Max calls "achievements"

Max is being a fanboy fool..... which is a little disappointing

now, NONE of the (in)famous HBO 3..... have any remaining credibility

Pac beat a mid-level welter..... one who did not look like the same (largely-unproven) fighter since returning from injury/inactivity..... and yet, fools are going full-ret4rd

        Q.
who did you beat, with consideration given to when/how ?

        A.
NOBODY important lol, and the nobody important has clearly struggled since returning to the ring..... albeit beating him at 40yo

Pac is pretty high up there but I would put him below Ali, Lennox Lewis, Sugar Ray leonard, Marvin Hagler, Bernard Hopkins.

I have Manny Pacquiao right under Bernard Hopkins.

Pacquiao and Max were on HBO, but now Max is on ESPN praising a PBC fighter. Unlike Arum, who says he wouldn't let "PBC" Pacquiao fight Crawford because Pacquiao is an old man who would take a beating.
