Likelihood is the fight doesn't happen and Lopez goes up to the more lucrative 140 and above over time while Loma stays at 135.

Lopez has scary level talent, but he's still young with room for a lot more development. If he comes good on his potential, and no reason to think he won't, he could survive a loss to Loma same way Canelo was able to move on from the loss to Mayweather, so Bob might see it that way and let it happen, but he would risk losing Loma if Lopez won - reason he might avoid it.

But yes, Loma has nowhere to go at 130/135. Mayweather promotions will stall Tank until they feel Loma started to fade sufficiently, but remember who the ultimate decision maker is with Loma - his father. His father will retire Loma once he starts to slip, ie right when Mayweather figures its time for Tank to step up. So thats another fight unlikely to happen.

My bet is Loma's next 2 fights after Crolla are Commey and Linares II, with Lopez going up to 140 by then.
Linares 2 is not happening. After his last KO loss in the first round he has nothing to bring to the table.

The Loma haters never disappoint for a good laugh. They keep digging the Earth to see if they can find someone that can beat Loma and after they believe they found one they cover him with all the silly arguments available to make him look good. Teofimo Lopez is next for you casuals, haters and biased kids? Any thoughts?

Impossible! daggum claims Lopez doesn't deserve a fight with Lomachenko because he doesn't have a belt, isn't a big ticket seller, and isn't a fan favorite.

He'd rather see Lomachenko fight the likes of Pedraza instead.

There really aren't that many people who think the fight is somehow necessary right now. Those are the people who are high on Lopez - not because he is a great prospect - but because they are racist.
or... Maybe people would just like to see a brash, exciting, confident 21 yr old take on an established champion who really doesn't have many other exciting options available to him.

I think the first fight was dramatic and even enough (well, before Linarez went down) to be able to sell a second, and Linares losing at a higher weight glossed over.

Comes back to Loma having nowhere else to go, also Linares. Loma lost in the amateurs, and made sure to erase that stain by rematching and beating that opponent. He tried rematching Salido - couldn't get it - and Loma might see getting decked by Linares as a stain to be erased. So Linares might be the one past opponent Loma would agree to.

But bottom line is the first fight was good enough to want to see it again - even if we know Loma will win it again.

                  A) Crolla wins
                  B) Luke Campbell beats both
                  C) Mikey Garcia drops down and gets retired by Crolla

...Lopez needs to fight and win Big against Balderas, Haney, Ryan Garcia, Rolly, etc, hell maybe even Verdejo before he can even dream of fighting Loma, LMFAO!!!
