Anyway, I wanted to know who influenced Tyson the most? I mean why dempsey? was it because of Cus D’Amato ?

I think out of ALL the past fighters, it was Dempsey that inspired Tyson the most.

He copy that bob and weaving style. DOWN 2 a tee I might add. We talk about Tyson's uppercut, Dempsey had a mean Uppercut 2.

The thing Tyson lack compare to Dempsey was Tyson did not relly fight in the clichs, but other than that we ALMOST had Dempsey.

Tyson thown the punchs JUST like Dempsey, he moved like Dempsey, copy the foot work like Dempsey.

And he even stole Dempsey's hair cut
And the black trucks look. And we talk about Tyson's stare. It almost looks like Dempsey's stare(If you had the theater film bout with the Frenchman, You can see the Dempsey Stare.)

well, judging by the adding of allah in that quote, i would say that muhammad ali said that.

Mike Tyson was mostly influenced by Jack Dempsey. I don't really know why. Dempsey was also the fighter that Rocky Marciano was influenced the most by.

dempsey was an agressive person when fighting . he went out and tried to take your head off like tyson did. and sonny liston cause of the intemidation factor oh how sonny used to intemidate his opponents. so thats what tyson picked up as u can see in his staredowns of opponents. there ya go.
