The end of three straight days of UIL Championship Football games at Cowboys Stadium had a turn for the worse after the final postgame trophy presentation.

A motorized cart got loose on the field and ran into a group of people at midfield. Lubbock Christian University’s Chris Due was working the event for the UIL and you can see him in the video get side swiped by the cart.

Hours after the accident, Due stated he was taken to the hospital and only suffered heavily swelling and “no structural damage”.
