And, i know some morons out there think floyd is super human unbeatable and all that crap. But, every fighter, even floyd has their limit.
    exactly................

Real talk, he cant beat sergio at 160, it would be all against him at 160....

        WHY NOT 154???

YOU WANT FLOYD TO MOVE UP X2 WEIGHT CLASSES??

ORTIZ CAME IN AT 147 AND PUT ON WATER WEIGHT TO GET TO 164
... AT 160 MARTINEZ WOULD BE COMING IN AT 160 POUNDS OF MUSCLE, NOT REHYDRATING WITH WATER WEIGHT...

        YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THIS.

THIS IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT GAME LARRY....

EVEN WITH DELAHOYA, HE WAS AT A HIGHER WEIGHT THAN FLOYD AND HE REHYDRATED PAST THE 154 MARKER SET BY THEM....

YOU ARE TELLING FLOYD TO COME INTO A 160 POUND FIGHT WHEN HE HAS NEVER WEIGHED MORE THAN 150 ON RECORD.... HIS HIGHEST WAS AGAINST DELAHOYA.... AND EVEN THEN HE DIDNT COME IN AT 154. AGAIN, YOU ARE TELLING HIM TO COME IN AT 160 WHEN HE HAS NEVER BEEN PAST 150 AND YOU ARE TELLING HIM TO FIGHT THE MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION... THERE IS A REASON SERGIO IS THE MIDDLE WEIGHT CHAMPION AND NOT THE WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION.

DONT HOLD FLOYD TO A HIGHER STANDARD AS *******S DO... HES A WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION,A ND HES NOT AS TALL, AND QUITE FRANKLY I KNOW HE WOULDNT HANDLE THAT WEIGHT WELL.....

HES THE WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION, NOT MUHAMMAD ALI.

YOU EVEN COMMENTED ON Floyd staying close to his fight night weight... as Floyd would say "BEING DISCIPLINED" Now you are telling Floyd to FORGET THAT AND FIGHT A MAN THAT WILL WEIGH 14+ POUNDS MORE THAN HIM, AND IT WILL BE MUSCLE...
why not 154???no title there..go to 160 for the lineal title..dare to be great

          What?

As far I'm concerned that's the only weight that matters.

              How do you figure?

Take Manny as a prime example- He weighed 145ish in the ring during his featherweight days and comes in at 148ish as a welterweight. Doesn't sound like much of a difference, but when you consider he was putting on about 15-19 lbs of water weight overnight as opposed to 3 is a MASSIVE difference in how he will look and perform.

Same thing here, if Sergio weighs 150 and comes into the ring at 165-170, it's not the same as him weighing 160 and coming into the ring at 165-170. It's night and day.

Fair point it provides evidence of the struggle to get down... But they're both important.
