  • The myth that Manny Pacquiao only fought opponents in their prime

It is well known that the average athletes prime/peak is around 26-29 years old. Once they hit 30 they start to decline. Let's take a look at Manny's opponents and their age when he fought them:

    Shane Mosley was 40

    Juan Manuel Marquez was 31, 35, 38 and 39

    Floyd Mayweather was 38

Oscar De La Hoya was 35

    Lucas Matthysse was 35

    Joshua Clottey was 33

    Antonio Margarito was 32

    Ricky Hatton was 31

The only fighters that Manny Pacquaio legitimately beat in their primes Marco Antonio Barrera and Miguel Cotto.

Well, he certainly beat them more dominant or more times.

I'm going to say this, folks certainly work harder trying to discredit Floyd's resume' than Manny's. However, if you try hard enough, you can pretty much discredit damn near anyone's resume's.

Both are legends though and should be respected as such.

Stop trying to divert the topic. He just exposed all you pac tards who say Floyd doesn't fight prime fighters LMAO. Manny Pacroid finally agreed to fight Floyd when he was 38, thought it was gonna be an easy win but Floyd outboxed that one trick pony to oblivion.

Yep, you can do that to every fighter. Last week, someone said Canelo had an overrated resume. When I asked him to name a few current boxers with better resumes, he ignored me and everyone else who asked the same thing.

...Manny is 2-1-1 against JMM, not 3-1.

              Why are *******s so dumb?

Anyhow Manny had an extremely cherry picked career, but most fighters do. Manny also likely juiced, but theres no concrete evidence.

Manny is still Top 25 ever, honestly

X3 wins over JMM? What have you been smoking, mate? Official record vs JMM 2-1-1. The record 90% of boxing and pundits around the world have it Pac 0 JMM 4.

Now go back and watch TBE show you how to deal with JMM. Also, prime Pac fought prime Morales and lost 115-113 or 116-112, Morales injured his arm throwing haymakers (hilarious to watch) in Round 12 that he never recovered from, he was never anywhere near prime after that, so Pac's "wins" against him, don't count for much either. Morales stated late in his career "I am much better than Pacquiao, I proved that when we both fought in our primes in the first fight."

Scorecard error would make it 3 wins. But most of floyds resume they were nt necessarily that good in first place. Whether in prime or not. Morales past prime would beat most on flouds resume.

Pac was older than floyd. Had way more fights, was a former flyweight so in boxing years was older. Pac was exciting fighter
                  and they burn out faster.
Floyd fought guys who weren't that good in first place, his resume is littered with those. P ast prime morales beats just about anyone in flouds cv
