  • Internet line quality tests.

Latency tests determine line quality and data transfer. I have fast 100mb internet but never before tested its quality. Not too bad, I am content.

    What you got?

Try http://speedtest.net/ ... it will gauge your speed in more detail.

I have run many speed tests. This was a different facet being tested.

Pingtest to NY - 600 miles away

Speedtests, well flash ones now, are very erratic. Especially the download tests. The speedometer Pegs out at the limit, and the speed can vary from 20-300mbps. Upload speeds are accurate at 6mbps. My download speeds should be around 40mbps

Edit: reinstalled flash and this one looks fairly normal

Got 70mb but get nowhere near that speed because i'm forced to use wireless G instead of N thanks to the Homehub 3 dropping N connections.

Didn't do the Ping test because it wanted me to reinstall Flash

                    But did the speed test.
This while my Utorrent was uploading at 620kBs and Dl'ing at 240kBs if that makes a difference.
