Floyds words was taken out of context which is what some people on boxingscene like to do.In that same article Floyd said HBO did`nt release Pacquiao`s PPV numbers cause Pac`s PPV numbers are much lower then Floyd`s and that the PPV numbers Pacquiao camp released are B.S.And he said that HBO release Floyd`s PPV number for the world to see.

Floyd also said Pacquiao does not earn as much as him.That quote posted by boxingscene is basically an attempt to make Floyd look like an excuse maker by taking his words out of context.

bc floyd is an excuse maker. Supply and demand - Floyd fights ovce every 1 - 1 1/2 yrs compared to Pac who is minimum 2 fights per year. floyd fights less often so his fights are bigger events. that being said their PPV numbers are pretty close. Floyds are a little bigger - but thats just for USA. Pac does bigger #s in other continents, like Asia and South America. overall reveue-wise, its very close, and 55-45 share for floyd is more than fair. but floyd will ALWAYS have an excuse. He'll never take another fight in which he's not at least a 4-1 favorite - guaranteed!, No Pac, No Martinez, and I wouldnt be surprised if he avoids Canelo, since Canelo is a young, fast, hungry fighter. If that fight doesnt happen in May, it wont happen either, bc floyd will see canelo beat Cotto worse that he did and realize that its not a walk in the park. Floyd will fight Guerreo v Berto winner and then the winner ar Hatton v. Maliganggi II. Pathetic!

By that logic wopuld`nt Hopkins PPV or ticket sales be bigger since he also was known to fight once a year at certain times?


Floyd earns more cause he`s more popular promotes his own fights and lately have been fighting better competition then Pacquiao cherry picked fights or weight draining fights and on top of that Floyd and his opponents take random testing to show both of them are clean.

This is a dumb statement of a coward who always looks for a lee-way to escape facing the man he feared most. He needs not to fight anyone to prove he is better than them because the only man who rendered his reputation in doubt is just in his door step. But just like with popular belief, he will not fight Pac no matter what it takes, be at 45-55, or 40-60 or even 30-70 sharing all in favor of Floyd he will not bite it. And 55-45 is not fair cause Floyd promotes/finances his own fights so he does`nt have to split his earnings with anybody.He just pays Goldenboy a fee to handle the logistics of the promotions before the earnings comes in.Pacquiao on the other hand has a promoter which means Bob Arum not only gets a split from him but Arum makes more then Pacquiao.
