Black Sabbath are indeed the greatest of all. I can't think of any other pioneer of a genre that matched their creativity with classic songs, classic albums, and music longevity. Their music is still as excellent and accessible today as 1970. And that's just their Ozzy-era; the Dio albums are a whole legacy in themselves.
When I was learning to play guitar around 2001, I was learning the songs off "Sold Our Souls for Rock n Roll." The amount of classic riffs to come out of Iommi, who doesnt even have all his fingers, is astounding. I still sound check with Hole in The Sky.
Your work was featured on an 'EyeHateGod' dvd, Noose?
Respect.
Feel free to link me up if you have a link.
It has been taken down a few times from youtube, but people keep putting back. lol.
Mike Williams contacted me a few years ago saying he wanted it on their dvd. I was happy to say the least. Met them a few times at gigs. Nice chaps.
The quality here is a bit ****. But u get the jist.
That's a really awesome piece of work, man. Very impressive. Kudos.
Lots of metal bands are really appreciative of fan made videos and will feature them either on DVD or on their website. It's always awesome when your work ends up being viewed by those you made it for. In boxing, I had that happen with Shane Mosley and Meldrick Taylor. In metal it happens more often.
