Canelo is an excellent fighter and I think Bivol can beat Canelo even in Vegas. I think Bivol is a faster better boxer and a harder puncher than Canelo with a much higher punch per round average and he is younger than Canelo for a change. It is a fight that will probably never happen because team Canelo does not want that fight.
Spot on! Great comment. Unfortunately pednelo will rather fight old GGG who is in the twilight of his career. I see 3 boxers that can beat canelo. David Benavidez, Bivol , Beterbiev. Canelo will avoid them like the plague

Bivol has a much better jab, much better footwork, better stamina, hits harder, is taller, has a longer reach, better chin, is just as fast as Canelo, and has a better compubox +/- fighting bigger opponents at 175 than Canelo has fighting at 154 and 160 most of his career. Canelo does almost nothing as good or better than Bivol. You can say Canelo has better head movement but that's only because Bivol's overall defense is so good that he's rarely ever in positions where he even needs to move his head to avoid the punch, he already has the punch avoided with his guard, footwork, and boxing IQ before the opponent throws it.

In a real fight at 168 or 175 pounds, Bivol would knock Canelo out, just like Kovalev would have.

Did Andre Ward lack the extra gear? Because Bivol finished Barrera, Ward could not. Where was Canelo's extra gear when an old GGG was huffing and puffing 30 seconds into their rematch on his last legs but Canelo couldn't finish him? Canelo doesn't even have the extra gear to finish middleweights, but you're talking about Bivol's gears when Bivol has hurt every single opponent he's ever fought. At 175. Canelo doesn't even hurt every opponent at 160. Couldn't finish Jacobs either.

In a real fight, Bivol all day at 175. In real fights, Canelo might still lose to certain fighters at 154. Canelo vs Madrimov is a 50-50 fight at 154 in a real fight. But you're talking possibly the best fighter 4 weight classes higher, who P4P is just as talented if not more than Madrimov? Delusional

That was 5 fights ago... also, what does extra gear mean to you?

I am a huge fan of Bivol but Canelo is not a good fight for him. Canelo can outbox Bivol and Bivol doesn't really have the power to stop Canelo... and well, no way he is getting the decision against him.
